The Mojave National Park is home to beautiful sand dunes, volcanic cinder cones, and desert flowers. The national park is 1.6 million acres and is also home to abandoned mines and military outpost.

Operating Hours & Seasons
The Mojave Desert National Preserve is open 24 hours a day and may be visited at any time of the year. However, visitation increases as temperatures moderate in the fall, peaks during the spring wildflower season, and diminishes during the heat of summer. Some areas of the park are designated for day use only.

The Visitor Center offers some great resources to learn more about the Mojave Desert Preserve which includes great information, exhibits, orientation film, art gallery, a bookstore, restrooms, water and event a picnic area
